Online Collector Car Trader.com to Relaunch Site Under the Domain California Collector Cars.com

Online Collector Car Trader.com, a rising star on the collector car trading scene, is re-launching the website under the domain California Collector Cars.com to avoid a legal battle with the Auto Trader organization.

Auto Trader's lawyers served Online Collector Car Trader.com with a Cease and Desist Letter after a string of recent new stories lauded the collector car site for its entrepreneurial spirit. Auto Trader contends that the website's domain name violated Auto Trader's long list of trademarked names.
Although the company feels that Auto Trader is over reaching and bullying the upstart website, Online Collector Car Trader.com founder Delfina Matay sees little benefit in fighting the online Goliath when the money could be better spent towards providing better customer service and furthering their philanthropic efforts.

"It's frustrating to be in the gun sights of such a large competitor, but we have to pick our battles," said Matay. "Our focus is to create the best online experience for collector car enthusiasts and a legal fight with Auto Trader is a costly diversion."

California Collector Cars.com is owned and operated by Matay, who shares a love for classic cars with her husband, Will. Will has always been a vintage car enthusiast and drove a '68 Camaro before an accident in 2002 left him paralyzed. Will's condition and drive to enjoy his passion for classic cars is the inspiration behind the company, which donates a percentage of their proceeds to paraplegic rehabilitation facilities.

California Collector Cars.com help buyers and sellers navigate through the clutter of cookie-cutter auto sites so that visitors can spend more time enjoying their classic car and less time lost online.
